剛剛打開電腦上網的時後發現今日的 Google Doodle 主題又異動了，原來今天的GOOGLE 是紀念偉大的「Raymond Loewy」這位工業設計大師120歲冥誕，畫面上看來是一個充滿未來感，有點像是來自未來世界的交通運輸工具充有著子彈般的流線造型。而這其實不是一台汽車，這是一台由 Raymond Loewy （雷蒙德·洛威） 這位偉大的工業設計師所設計的鐵路蒸汽火車，這款火車的前端部份看起來還真像是鯊魚的鼻子呢，因此這款火車 Raymond Loewy 設計登在GOOGLE 首頁的 Doodle Google 就是知名的鯊鼻(Sharknose)設計火車。圖片來源其部份參考資訊來源：維基百科
Raymond Loewy 中譯名稱是「雷蒙德·洛威」，出生於1893年11月5日（法國巴黎） 死於1986年7月14日（摩納哥蒙地卡羅），雖然他是在法國出生，不過他的絕大多數的設計師生涯是在美國渡過的，Raymond Loewy 可以說是上個世紀全世界非常知名的美國工業設計大師，他的平面設計還有企業識別系統設計非常有成就，他的設計作品不只堪稱是精典也可以說是為現代工業設計打下了很棒的基礎，而他的設計風格也對美國的近代設計美學走向以及設計文化產生了深遠的影響。

Raymond Loewy最知名的企業識別標識LOGO包含了美國超大的殼牌石油標識、灰狗巴士、賓州鐵路機車GG1和S-1、Lucky Strike雪茄包裝、「Coldspot」冰箱、史都德貝克汽車阿汎提號以及空軍一號的塗裝。設計生涯長達70年之久。

Raymond Loewy是生於20世紀的知名工業設計師，他從小的時後就開始對如汽車或是飛機這種會動的機械產生興趣，他年記很輕的時後就拿下了飛機設計比賽的大獎 (James Gordon Bennett Cup)，27歲以後就轉往美國發展並。
Raymond Loewy一直到40歲1937年的時後才開始和賓州鐵路合作，這個時期他所設計的就是他最愛的動力交通工具系列，他在那個時期開發了很多知名的載客列車，如K4s Pacific #3768型、Broadway Limited列車等，這些火車都十分的流線造型都充滿雷蒙德·洛威個人的特殊風格，之後他也開始設計汽車以及飛機的工業設計，我想上個世記美國很多汽車的外觀都是十分精典動感的外型，應該都是受到工業設計大師 Raymond Loewy 的影響，讓我們一起向工業設計大師 Raymond Loewy 致敬。
