【簡嘉宏╱綜合外電報導】美國佛州奧蘭多環球影城（Universal Orlando）內一座雲霄飛車9日晚間發生故障，12名遊客被掛在空中近3小時，技術人員10日已進行檢修，查明故障原因。
 
「好萊塢搖滾火箭」（Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit）在9日晚間7時故障，救援團隊將雲霄飛車推移至軌道上的一處平台，讓遊客離開飛車再搭雲梯回到地面，大部分遊客僅受到驚嚇，1人因頸部疼痛送往當地醫院治療。
 
佛州奧蘭多市的消防主管戴伊（Jeff Day）9日表示，疑似因為雲霄飛車的機件故障，啟動了安全裝置，將車體固定在軌道上，才讓這12名遊客被吊在半空中飽受驚嚇。在檢查出故障原因前，雲霄飛車都將暫停營運。

【大紀元2013年10月11日訊】 （大紀元記者黃雲天傑克遜維爾編譯報導）貨幣監管局發佈警告，提醒金融機構、監管機構和公眾小心虛假銀行欺詐。

貨幣監管局警告，欺詐騙局以虛構的銀行AmTrade International Bank作為幌子，向信用不佳的個人兜售信用卡，宣稱可以幫助他們重建或改善信譽，條件是先寄支票給這個「銀行」，支票金額在500美元—900美元。「銀行」地址是：601 NE 11th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla。如果在互聯網上搜索，就會發現該地址確實存在，但不是辦公樓而是一個自儲設施。當然，受害人寄出的支票被兌現後，是不會收到任何信用卡的。

貨幣監管局在8月份發出的同類警告，騙局幾乎一模一樣，只是虛構的銀行名字不同，叫Freedom 1st National Bank，但使用同樣的地址。貨幣監管局警告未經貨幣監管局批准的任何個人和企業，在全美經營銀行業務是違法的。

著名的商業銀行評定公司，鮑爾金融（BAUERFINANCIAL）也發佈新聞公告，提醒民眾檢查銀行的星級評定，鮑爾金融的網站提供免費服務，公眾可以查閱任何銀行的星級評定。其網址是：www.bauerfinancial.com

佛羅里達州的欺詐案件一直是個很大的問題，包括保險欺詐、金融欺詐和身份欺詐。2012年，佛羅里達州的身份欺詐案高到7萬起，平均每10萬個佛州居民中，就有361個人身份被盜竊，而位居第二的喬治亞州的比例只有佛州的一半。在2010-2012期間，佛州的保險欺詐超過2萬9千起，居全美第二，僅次於加州。

佛羅里達州被稱為龐氏騙局者的天堂，從斯科特．羅絲斯坦（Scott Rothstein）到奈文．夏皮羅（Nevin Shapiro），甚至華爾街的麥道夫（Bernie Madoff）都與南佛州有關聯。自2008年以來，美國證券交易委員會邁阿密辦事處13例民事指控，主要涉嫌龐氏騙局的欺詐活動。

【周佩萱╱綜合外電報導】神秘的英國塗鴉大師班克西(Banksy)，罕見受訪，日前接受Village Voice書面採訪，說明這次選擇暫居紐約，發起為期1個月塗鴉秀的原因。
 
班克西表示選擇紐約，是因為紐約就像座又舊又髒的燈塔，大家都想來這裡證明自己，而且紐約有很多隱蔽的場所，不過他數個月前來場勘發現的空白牆壁，現在都蓋了大樓，很訝異紐約發展這麼快速，他也打趣地說：「或許我應該選擇比較有意義的地方，像是北京或莫斯科，但那裡的披薩沒那麼好吃。」
 
班克西還被問及，在紐約塗鴉是否也是為了要賺錢，班克西回答表示：「完全不是這麼一回事，商業成功就代表這個塗鴉藝術家失敗了，我們不該以賺錢為目的，看看現在社會獎勵那麼多錯誤的人，金錢報酬無非就是利己平庸。」
