女神卡卡新單曲8月19日首發

女神卡卡11月11日將發行結合音樂專輯與多媒體App的全新作品「流行藝術」（ARTPOP，暫譯），美國地區預購日期為8月19日，她也在同日首發首支單曲「Applause」。在新公開的單曲封面上，可見女神卡卡化身濃妝小丑，外界好奇背後意涵，她只表示：「我要你們自己先用眼睛看，不然這就不是藝術了。」卡卡將在8月25日舉行的2013 MTV音樂獎首唱新歌。
