【綜合報導】美國7歲女童文嘉絲（Meghan Weingarth），若不小心吃下花生或杏仁等堅果，會出紅疹甚至過敏性休克，幸好她有一個好幫手，六歲小狗LilyBelle會為她聞食物，一旦嗅出食物中含有堅果，便會舉爪示意，提醒小主人不要食用，因此文嘉絲無論上學、逛街或參加朋友派對，都要帶著這隻「救星」。
 
英國《每日郵報》報導，文嘉絲亦患有極罕見的結節性硬化症（Tuberous Sclerosis Complex），會導致腦部與其他器官長腫瘤，以及癲癇、發育遲緩和自閉症。因此，LilyBelle除了負責嗅出「危險品」，還要在文嘉絲癲癇發作時在旁舔她的手，待她醒過來。
