田中將大開季16連勝破日本職棒紀錄

【王毓健／綜合報導】田中將大無人能擋！他今先發主投7局92球只被敲4安打，無四死、無失分，外加奪三振8次，率樂天金鷹5比0完封軟體銀行鷹，拿下破日本職棒投手紀錄開季16連勝。
 
田中將大跨季20連勝，也追平前西鐵投手「鐵腕」稻尾和久在1957年20連勝，並列日本職棒投手最長連勝紀錄。他說：「對方打者也會想打敗我，我則是好好照自己的方式投球，不讓他們有機會。」
 
賽後田中將大16勝、防禦率1.20都是全日職之冠，奪三振120次也僅次於歐力士猛牛王牌金子千尋133次。
