幾乎與他同齡的前行政院長郝柏村、前退輔會主委許歷農，都來到這裡與他揮別。只不過，另一位年邁的老友李登輝，卻未能到場，只派了李辦主任王燕軍出席，王燕軍不願受訪，禮拜未結束就倉促離去。
