【綜合報導】馬王之爭纏鬥多日，王金平仍穩坐立院龍頭，馬英九總統暫居下風。網友把紀錄片《拔一條河》海報kuso成《拔一個王》，女孩變成了馬英九；《拔一條河》導演楊力州感嘆，「與其『拔一個人』不如『拔一條河』。」

《聯合報》報導，導演楊力州執導的紀錄片「拔一條河」，上周六在影片映後座談中說，最近回到家看了半個小時電視，發現全都在「拔一個人」，他感嘆「與其『拔一個人』不如『拔一條河』， 請各界多重視台灣偏鄉與新移民。」

《拔一條河》描述甲仙地區居民八八風災後，受甲仙國小拔河隊激勵，凝聚社區共識的故事，因風災重建題材貼近台灣底層生活，對新移民的心境與故事的描繪，更引發各界回響。
