普氏能源資訊（Platts）9月17日報導，大陸國營研究機構北京安泰科最新報告將2013年大陸氧化鋁產量預估自4,630萬噸略微上調至4,650萬噸，主要受到新疆省兩座煉鋁廠投產的帶動。安泰科數據顯示，大陸去年的氧化鋁產量為4,214萬噸。安泰科也預估，至今年底，大陸氧化鋁年產能將達到6,200萬噸，較去年底的5,800萬噸增加400萬噸。氧化鋁是生產鋁的原料。

安泰科對大陸今年國內鋁產量預估則維持不變為2,450萬噸，但此較去年的2,000萬噸產量將增長22.5%。至今年底，大陸鋁冶煉年產能預估將達到3,000-3,100萬噸，去年底為2,500萬噸，主要也是受到西部地區--特別是新疆省新增產能的帶動。安泰科估計，今明兩年大陸西部地區新增的鋁冶煉年產能約達300-400萬噸。

中國國家統計局的數據顯示，大陸8月份原鋁產量創下新高達到186.3萬噸，主要受到新疆省新增產能的帶動，較前月以及去年同期分別增加1.3%與5.2%；前兩大產鋁省份河南與新疆8月份產量分別為274,140公噸與218,261公噸。1-8月，大陸原鋁產量年增8.2%至1,434.9萬噸。大陸是最大的原鋁消費國與生產國。
