濟美仁愛之家安養老人跳樓自殺

嘉義市濟美仁愛之家長期照護中心85歲張姓老翁，患憂鬱症，秋節家人未接他回家過節，20日傍晚突從3樓陽台跳樓自殺，送醫不治，濟美會同警方查看監視器，張姓老翁獨自上樓，無外力介入，檢警21日完成相驗，家人對死因無異議，死者兒子說，父親曾有輕生念頭。

嘉義榮民醫院身心醫學科主任、全國生命線協會副理事長黃敏偉醫師說，孤獨老人逢年過節，沒人陪伴關懷，無助空虛，容易想不開，家人忙無法探視，可以用遠距視訊聊天，安養機構可用懷舊治療法及生命故事書，讓老人正面思考。
