羅瑩雪：執行死刑不會拖延

是否贊成廢除死刑? 法務部長羅瑩雪表示，台灣要不廢除死刑，要尊重台灣多數意見，「我自己是覺得不好，但法務部執行單位，如果拖延不執行亦是不負責的做法。」

羅瑩雪說，她到法務部收到的第一封陳情信就是死刑犯要求儘快執行，她說： 「感到真的很可憐，廢死聯盟真了解他們的心情嗎? 」有人（指死刑犯）好死不如賴活，希望多活一天；有人則想早死早超生，「我不會故意去拖延 (執行死刑)。」
