翁山蘇姬首訪歐盟，向國際訴求緬甸修憲

緬甸最大在野黨領袖翁山蘇姬今天首度造訪布魯塞爾，並與歐盟執委會主席巴洛索 (Manuel Barroso)會面，被視為可望參選明年總統大選的翁山蘇姬表示，她此次訪歐就是要向國際訴求緬甸應在年底前完成修憲，明年的選舉才會公平、實現真正的民主。

巴洛索則盛讚翁山蘇姬不放棄夢想是人類典範，並指緬甸仍要多與國際接觸。

翁山蘇姬將在22日到史特拉斯堡的歐洲議會領取她在1990年所獲得的歐洲議會人權獎。
