【動新聞╱綜合報導】需要定時點眼藥水，但又怕自己常忘記；或有時想到冰涼藥水碰觸到眼睛的刺激感，眼睛就忍不住眨眨眨嗎？現在這一切都有了解決方法，而且很簡單喔。
 
美國哈佛大學醫學院和麻省理工學院合作研究，研發出全球首款可定量輸送眼藥水的隱形眼鏡，以治療青光眼。這款隱形眼鏡在鏡片一角存放眼藥水，可持續定量輸送藥水長達一個月。傳統滴眼藥水的方式，無法有效輸送藥水，透過隱形眼鏡，將可解決這個問題，未來不單是青光眼，其他需要眼藥水治療的眼疾，同樣能獲得有效改善。

雖然這款隱形眼鏡還在測試階段，不過對青光眼或其他眼睛疾病的患者來說，可說是一大福音。
