夏克立看不慣 想批政府無能

台灣女婿夏克立長期關注台灣社會議題，非常看不慣政府無能，想開個外國人談台灣時事的談話節目，卻被經紀公司打槍，「公司認為藝人談這種話題太敏感，老婆也說我若主持這種節目，藝人生涯會提早結束。」 　他說，之前爆發的食安問題，讓他很氣憤，還說來台17年，現在是最黑暗的時期，而台灣的政論節目藍綠色彩太明顯，來賓只會互罵，沒有建設性，「由住在台灣的外國人來看問題，立場中立，也沒藍綠問題。」但接觸的電視台對節目企畫有意見，過程不順遂。

加拿大籍的他中文程度能否應付艱深話題？「像醫療這種很多專有名詞的議題可能有困難，不過我們會用簡單的詞彙告訴大家，真要做，我事前一定會準備很多功課。」
