嘉義市今天(1日)下午傳出5位民眾一氧化碳中毒，其中一對情侶傳已死亡，另一男二女送醫急救，警消正查明為何會發生這起2死3傷的意外。

嘉義市興業西路一棟大樓五樓出租套房，5名嘉義大學學生一氧化碳中毒，是否為熱水器或其他原因造成一氧化碳中毒，目前尚在了解中。
