挑戰三星　VIZIO爭美國液晶電視市場霸主

【吳秀樺／台北報導】台灣人創的VIZIO在美國液晶電視市場異軍突起，與南韓的三星正面對決爭奪王位，VIZIO董事長王蔚指出，去年VIZIO落後三星居第二，預估今年數量與營收都會再成長，誓奪美國液晶電視市場的王位。
 
王蔚說，去年美國市場南韓三星（Samsung）仍是銷售冠軍，至於VIZIO則是居第2名，去年出貨量約640萬台，與三星並沒有差很多，而去年的代工廠瑞軒代工佔5成，約300萬台，其餘則為鴻海（2317）以及緯創（3231）。
 
王蔚指出，就去年來整個美國市場衰退約4%，但是VIZIO出貨量成長17~18%，營收成長28%，只有三星與VIZIO是維持成長的態勢，其他品牌廠商都是衰退格局。由於美國的景氣開始回溫，加上換機潮的帶動，王蔚也看好今年美國液晶電視市場的表現，預估今年出VIZIO出貨量會較2013年成長20%以上，並將拿下18~20%的市佔率，營收會比三星還要高。
