新北市府今舉辦「攜手BIM，建構新北3D雲端智慧城」研討會，新北工務局指出，目前1億以上公共工程已導入建築資訊模型（Building Information Modeling，簡稱BIM），推動建築物完整生產履歷，包括建造執照線上申請，到施工管理及後續空間使用計畫，提升整體建築工程品質及效能。
 
工務局表示，BIM技術已運用在施工中國民運動中心，未來再逐步推動至民間建築工程，社區管委會甚至可以透過該系統事先得知哪個燈泡即將壞掉。（方佳怡／新北報導）
