揚智攜手瑞士商 搶攻閘道器市場

機上盒(STB)晶片廠揚智科技宣布，與瑞士電視設備軟體解決方案廠iWedia合作，攜手搶攻廣播至寬頻閘道器市場。

揚智表示，平板電腦與HDMI電視棒產品快速成長，帶動廣播至寬頻的需求與日俱增，無頭端閘道器與相關應用是在多種螢幕裝置上提供廣播內容的最好方式。

揚智指出，iWedia成功開發出的衛星/地面廣播置網路伺服器軟體，已獲SES ASTRA 1.2版認證。

揚智專用於衛星、有線、地面無頭端廣播轉換至寬頻閘道器的B3系列晶片，整合iWedia軟體，可將多達8個高畫質面式頻道轉換至網路格式，並有助縮減代工客戶產品開發時程和人力。
