由於在歐洲接連發生兩起的起火意外事故，導致PORSCHE在2月間對所有的新世代911 GT3車主宣佈，建議暫時停止使用該車輛，並且回到PORSCHE各地據點進行檢測。而根據瞭解，受到影響的911 GT3在全球共有725輛，而台灣則有其中的26輛。
