聖保羅聯邦大學（Unifesp）公布最新調查指出，巴西18歲以上約5%的民眾（約540萬人），幼年時期曾遭性侵；女性受害比率7%超過男性的3.4%。

調查指出，幼年時期曾遭性侵、身心受創的受害者，長期活在暴力後遺症的陰影下，施暴者主要是親人（包括父母、繼父母與兄弟姊妹）、世交好友或陌生人；17%受訪者不願說出誰是施暴者。

這項調查是於2012年在巴西149個城市，抽樣訪問4607名14歲以上民眾的結果。

調查指出，1.3%的受訪者曾接受金錢利誘，與18歲以上的成年人發生性關係。

2成受訪者指出，幼年時期曾遭受父母或其他照護者施以暴力，最常見的是推、抓、毆傷和侮辱。20%的兒童家暴案例，施暴者在動粗時都喝醉酒。

此外，1成受訪者童年時曾目睹父母或照護者之間暴力相向。調查員指出，童年時期親眼目睹父母或照顧者暴力相向，產生的負面衝擊，與自己成為暴力受害者不相上下。

調查還指出，13%的受訪者曾在幼年和青少年時期，成為校園霸凌或其他人欺負的對象，主要是言語上的欺凌，例如被冠上難聽的綽號、散布謠言，其次是身體暴力；種族歧視與同性戀恐懼案例分別占1.3%和0.1%。(中央社)
