群眾今天在伊斯坦堡市中心聚集示威，抗議上週索瑪鎮（Soma）煤礦災變造成301名礦工死亡事件。有些左派抗議民眾對警方車輛投擲汽油彈與石塊，警方對空鳴槍壓制。

這名30歲男子中彈被送到醫院後幾小時，木特魯（Huseyin Avni Mutlu ）在推特貼文說：「我們沒能救回他的命。」

副總理阿倫奇（Bulent Arinc）稍早說，這名男子是去參加葬禮，遇到警方發射催淚彈，噴射強力水柱與對空發射實彈驅散抗議群眾。
