最近戰績不理想的國民隊，單場擊出15支安打，卯起來痛打遊騎兵。國民以9比2贏球，先發投手Stephen Strasburg投6局，送出9次三振，失2分都不是自責分，拿下今年第4勝。

2局上Strasburg發生失誤，遊騎兵隊攻下2分，但4局下Ian Desmond轟出逆轉三分砲，國民後來居上，打線大爆發，連5局都有分數進帳。

Denard Span、Jayson Werth各擊出三支安打，國民前7棒都有安打跟得分。遊騎兵隊Adrian Beltre也有3支安打，但全隊得點圈13支2，錯過許多機會。

遊騎兵先發投手Colby Lewis，投5又2/3局被敲9安，失6責5，吞下本季第4敗。

國民收下最近10場比賽的第3勝，戰績26勝27敗，國聯東區第三。遊騎兵吞下最近10戰裡的第3敗，戰績28勝27敗，美聯西區第三。
