興櫃專攻LED背光的連營科技(3603-TW)，今(27)日召開重大訊息記者會，公司5月底前停止生產LED背光廠封裝，全力拼轉型，衝刺照明市場。

連營表示，LED背光市場已過度競爭，加上產品價格下跌，導致營收及獲利能力逐年下滑並不斷產生虧損，已不符生產效益，因此公司決議今年5月底背光廠封裝線停止生產。相關產品改以委外模式生產，並同時持續鞏固現有照明客戶，加強與代工廠供應鏈運作，力拼公司產品快速轉型。

連營2013年上半年營收為1.23億元，稅後淨利123萬元，每股盈餘0.04元，但下半年開始產業競爭加劇，價格快速下滑，拖累公司營運，因此去年整體營收為2.11億元，稅後淨損4682萬元，每股淨損1.39元。
