竹市端午龍舟賽 市長揭開序幕

新竹市2014端午節龍舟競賽，今早在南寮地中海由市長許明財揭開序幕，近70隊的隊伍將爭取最高榮譽。現場還有市集、表演活動，市長許明財更邀約民眾到場「湊熱鬧」。

端午龍舟決賽將在下午3時舉行，充滿力與美的競賽，為端午佳節氣氛帶到最高點。

另外，下午4時在南寮舊港也有「防溺宣導暨水上救生演練」，為接下來暑期戲水活動宣導安全知識，而演練將會逼真上演，市長許明財還透漏「將出動直升機參與演練！」
