高雄市長陳菊日前致電行政院長江宜樺，主動提及對台灣石化業未來發展的關心，希望針對台灣發展安全的石化業交換意見。高市10日表示，希望能在排除近日水患災情後，儘快安排見面。行政院說，江揆也認為這項議題很重要，已責成經濟部等相關單位準備資料。

行政院發言人孫立群10日指出，陳菊8日傍晚致電江宜樺，除對中央各部會協助高雄救災表示感謝外，也主動提及對台灣石化業未來發展的關心，希望針對台灣發展安全的石化業交換意見。

孫立群說，江宜樺也認為這項議題很重要，已責成經濟部等相關單位準備資料。

至於會面時間，孫立群表示，雙方尚未敲定，將等救災告一段落後再談。

高雄市政府發言人丁允恭說，希望能在排除近日水患災情後，政院能儘快安排見面。

在討論的議題方面，丁允恭說，包括災後重建、資源面的協助、災民的協助，都需要支援。也希望能解決石化管線的布局、石化產業資源再配置的問題，打破高雄在石化業「未見其利、只蒙其害」的宿命。
