本來只想「賣一個算一個」，現在卻跨出海外，外銷亞洲甚至歐洲，在門檻不高的手工市場，阿原硬是用三大強項，鎖住顧客。

五坪大的工作室，到五公頃的農場；從有機商店不起眼的籐編籃子，跨出海外到中國大陸、香港、日本、馬來西亞、新加坡。

這是阿原肥皂的故事。一個想要遠離塵囂的廣告人，從自己動手做肥皂開始，「賣一個算一個」，別人一塊肥皂賣二十元，他可以賣三百五十元，如今一年賣出上百萬個肥皂，今年還將簽下英國與烏克蘭的代理權。

自己做原料，別人學不來

阿原可以算是台灣近年來，第一個開始賣手工肥皂的本土業者，同時及其後也出現了不少類似品牌的追隨者，一樣強調手工、天然，甚至連郭元益等食品大廠都跨入競爭，但，阿原不但營收逐年成長，去年已達六億元，產品還賣到海外四國，阿原究竟憑什麼勝出？

要找到拳頭產品，建立關鍵技術。

「這就是一條流行線而已，我看再頂多三、五年，這條線就無法再拉上去。」阿原肥皂創辦人江榮原很清楚，阿原最初靠著新鮮感，訴諸土地的力量以及台灣品牌情感，引發大家好奇，媒體報導很多，一炮而紅。

但是，緊接著就出現模仿跟抄襲，而且都抓住手工、天然、台灣這幾個關鍵字，「比阿原名字更有感覺的都來了！」

江榮原說，這時候肉搏戰正式開打，「因為大家談的東西都很像，而且絕對都會打動人心，」他認為此時要比的是，誰能製造出有週期性、密度性高的回購，「到最後你還是會從感情的需要，回歸到身體的需要，」他認為，終究會走到商品這一塊。

其實，江榮原很有警覺性，在成立的第二年就意識到這件事情。

他認為，如果只是比包裝、比說故事能力，「江山代代有人出，創意一波還有一波，」品牌無法走得長久。所以，他從日本資生堂、法國歐舒丹等品牌身上，學習到的做法是：一定要有一個不可被替代的關鍵技術，在單一領域裡，深深耕耘。

【施旖婕╱綜合外電報導】中國廣西有一名8旬老翁罹患癌症，但他竟自行在家中「動手術」，上周六用刀切開自己的腹部，把腸子拿出來查看，並把其中一截疑似患癌的腸子切掉，扔進去水管，但最終因失血過多死亡。

原本外傳指老翁因沒錢治病，才不願意就醫。但當地政府指出，老翁家境還算不錯，兒女多次要送老翁就醫，但老翁可能認為治癒機會不大，所以要求不去醫院，不想拖累孩子。

【大紀元2013年10月16日訊】(大紀元記者陳文敏台灣苗栗報導)苗栗縣農村再生，展現社區能量，成果發表會19、20兩日將在桐花樂活公園熱鬧展開；當日活動現場有爆米香、果醬製作DIY體驗、國樂表演、老時味裝置藝術等，邀請到社區老師傅展現傳統絕活，從老師傅的巧手中，看見傳統藺草編織、環保工藝、織布藝術的新未來。

16日上午在縣府舉辦活動記者會，現場有社區作品展示攤位，還有由苑裡上舘社區居民製作的「爆米香」，發送給現場民眾品嘗，並展示創意「爆米香」彩色版畫，邀請副縣長林久翔和與會貴賓在創意米香版畫上提字，嘉許社區努力的成果。

農業處副處長林澄清指出，苗栗農村再生計畫全國第一，參與率八成；為協助農村發展，已經審查通過40個社區的農村再生計畫，協助爭取4億3千3百多萬元；農村不再是只有老人家守著老房子，要吸引年輕人回鄉，回到農村多元化的經營，讓老人、小孩有揮灑的空間，呼喚兒時記憶，變成大家的後花園。

林澄清表示，活動現場安排社區特色DIY體驗、農村闖關體驗、老師傅技藝表演、國中小寫生比賽，還有來自苗栗各地的道地美食，竭誠歡迎鄉親蒞臨參觀。

債限爭議落幕在即激勵美股四大指數齊步走高，道瓊終場大漲逾200點、標普500指數再度逼近史上高點，而其餘指數漲幅也都在1個百分點以上。

嘉實XQ全球贏家報價系統顯示，道瓊工業平均指數漲1.36%(205.82點)至15373.83點；NASDAQ指數漲1.2%(45.42點)至3839.43點，創2000年9月8日以來新高；標準普爾500指數漲1.38%(23.48點)至1721.54點；費城半導體指數漲1.02%(5.08點)至501.58點。       

依據參議院所作共識，舉債上限延展至明年2月7日，而應急預算案將可維持聯邦政府運作至1月15日。參眾兩院稍晚就會進行表決，而白宮已表態支持。象徵市場恐慌情緒的芝加哥選擇權交易所(CBOE)VIX指數劇減21%至14.71。

聯準會(Fed)發布「褐皮書（Beige Book）」指出，美國經濟成長熱度介於普通至溫和之間，在汽車銷售上揚的帶動下，消費支出呈現溫和擴張。不過，就業成長腳步仍趨緩。FED預定在10月29至30日召開貨幣決策會議，預估量化寬鬆(QE)政策將按兵不動。

標普500指數成分股當日預計有22家企業公布財報，據彭博社調查預估，7至9月500大企業平均營收、獲利將分別成長2%與1.4%。

標普10大上市類股全線走揚，領漲的金融、健康醫療與電信類股指數分別勁揚1.7%。道瓊運輸類指數(Dow Jones Transportation Average)漲1.4%。

美銀漲2.3%至14.56美元，該公司公布前季財報，淨利由一年前的3.4億美元躍增逾7倍至25億美元，折算每股盈餘(EPS)為0.2美元，優於分析師預估的0.18美元。

費城KBW銀行指數(KBW Bank Index)漲1.3%，其中摩根大通漲3.2%至54美元，高盛漲2.9%至162.25美元。

雅培製藥(Abbott Laboratories)大漲6.5%至35.9美元，漲幅居500大企業之冠。該公司公布前季財報不僅優於預期，並計畫調高股利。

蘋果漲0.49%至501.11美元，投資銀行Canaccord Genuity維持蘋果「買進」評等不變，並將目標價由560美元調升至580美元。

【李彥初／綜合報導】歌手梁靜茹被爆有喜了！藝人吳佩慈今下午在微博分享一張和好友梁靜茹、楊晴瑄以及蘇打綠青峰聚餐照，並開心說：「親愛的小小吳（青峰），你的新名字是送子鴿（送子哥），因為一跟你合照的女人都會很快懷孕！實在是太好孕（運）了！」間接透露梁靜茹懷孕消息。
 
先前梁靜茹就已表示，這一年要推掉手邊所有工作，想積極做人，並和老公到美國遊玩散心，如今吳佩慈在微博透露好友懷孕喜訊，加上日前中國國家主席習近平讚美梁靜茹，讓她在中國聲勢看漲，可謂喜上加喜。記者求證梁靜茹老公，不過她老公手機未接。

【呂志明／台北報導】檢調偵辦台北車站屋頂防水更新工程弊案，發現負責規畫設計監造的建築師馮月忠，涉嫌與南海材料公司負責人謝宗義合謀，利用耐壓且抗寒零下20度的「聚胺酯防水板」特殊材料綁標，要得標廠商購買指定材料，從中取得近400萬元回扣，北檢複訊後，在今天凌晨，以涉犯《政府採購法》等罪嫌，諭令2人各以10萬元交保候傳。

據了解，檢調人員在昨天清晨前往馮月忠住處搜索時，馮正要送小孩上學，見到檢調上門，並未感到驚訝，還很有禮貌的詢問要搜哪裡。在偵訊過程中，馮對於相關事證全都避重就輕，不是說不記得，就是說忘了。

檢調查出，當廠商得標後，依照契約，必須將施作計畫書送給馮月忠，由馮審核得標廠商是否依照規畫報告、材質進行施工，馮就利用這個環節，刁難得標廠商，再暗示廠商使用南海公司的特殊材料。

【國際中心／綜合報導】中國復旦大學前天展示新技術，利用一盞LED燈，傳輸網路內容，可同時讓燈下的4台電腦上網。平均上網路度達到150Mb，最高上網速度可達3.25Gb，號稱是全球最快的「光上網」技術。

這項稱為「LiFi」的可見光上網技術，是利用晶片控制LED燈光的明滅，每秒可閃爍數百萬次。這些明滅的頻率可以把網路資料轉換成資料編碼，傳遞給其他裝置，達成無線通訊。LiFi無法取代目前的WiFi技術，但或許可以安裝在客機的閱讀燈裡，提供特定的網路服務。

研究人員遲楠教授指出，光和無線電波一樣，都屬於電磁波的一種，傳播網路訊號的基本原理是一致的，只要在LED燈泡中增加一個微芯片，便可讓燈泡變成無線網絡，而且光譜比無線電頻譜大10萬倍，意味頻寬更大和網速更快，設置網路又幾乎不需要增加新裝置。

【陳亮諭／綜合報導】美國參議院兩黨達成協議，政府重啟有望，償債大限也將延後至明年，將進入兩院表決階段，市場樂觀，美股飆升收漲，道指竄漲206點。

《鉅亨網》報導，美國參議院議員宣布達成協議，將結束政府關門16日，今天將進行表決；該協定內容讓政府重啟至明年1月15日，將償債大限延後至2月7日。

美國股市
道瓊工業平均指數大漲 205.82 點或 1.36％ 至 15373.83。
Nasdaq 指數竄升 45.42 點或 1.20% 至 3839.43。
S&P 500 指數飆漲 23.48 點或 1.38% 至 1721.54。
費城半導體指數收紅 5.08 點或 1.02% 至 501.58。
