【綜合報導】美國總統歐巴馬14日對美俄外長就敘利亞問題所達成的協議表示歡迎，他認為對敘利亞的化武進行監管與摧毀，確實是「重要而具體的一步」。但歐巴馬也強調，要是外交途徑失靈，美國隨時準備好採取（軍事）行動。

歐巴馬說：「這個（美俄達成共識的）框架提供了一個機會，以透明、迅速、確實的方法來銷毀敘利亞的化學武器，如此不但能終結這些武器對敘利亞人民的威脅，也包括對世界其他地區的威脅。」

【石永軒╱新北報導】新北市三重1位27歲男子被女友發現在租屋處燒炭自殺，警消今天下午4點左右獲報趕往現場，男子送醫急救無效。據警方初步了解，死者事發前與女友發生口角，寄發給女友的手機簡訊透露輕生之意，內容寫著：「我要死給你看」等尋死字句，女友收到簡訊後前往死者租屋處查看，發現男友在屋內燒炭身亡，目前家屬正在醫院處理後事，詳細死因仍待警詢問死者女友及家屬後釐清。

【李恩慈／台南報導】台南市仁德分屍命案仍未比對出死者身分，警方上午開始調派抽水機，希望把棄屍現場旁一處閒置漁塭的水抽乾，但截至下午5時為止，水仍深未見底，因此無法搜索閒置漁塭內有無其他屍塊或命案跡證。
 
台南市歸仁警分局偵查隊下午4時許突然召集各小隊隊員前往棄屍現場，近20人排成一列直線往草叢農地擴大地毯式搜尋，沒想到警方才剛徒步下去搜索五分鐘，突然間烏雲密佈、打了幾聲響亮的閃電，一陣強風疾雨襲來，讓在場搜索的警察和拍攝記者全都淋成落湯雞，由於前一刻才大晴天，下一刻就刮風下大雨，讓圍觀民眾直呼：「好詭異！會不會是死者在訴冤情？」
 
警方表示，今天指認的訊息不如預期，陸續的指認對象也都一一排除，目前偵辦方向仍先朝確認死者身分為最優先。
