世界盃G組前天上演德美大戰，兩名在太空站的美國太空人跟德國太空人打賭自己的國家會勝出，但最後德國獲勝，兩名美國太空人只好無奈接受剃光頭的命運。
 
在國際太空站上的美國太空人斯旺森（Steve Swanson）和懷斯曼（Reid Wiseman），前天與德國太空人格斯特（Alexander Gerst）打賭，表示美國若在世界盃分組賽事中勝出，就要在已經是光頭的格斯特頭上畫美國國旗。但如果美國輸球，兩名美國太空人就得剃光頭。
 
比賽結果，德國以1比零擊敗美國，斯旺森和懷斯曼願賭服輸，在太空艙內剃光頭。但事後三名光頭仍歡喜合照，顯示願賭服輸、不傷和氣。（國際中心／綜合報導）

提到「人類學」你率先想到的形容詞是什麼？沒錯，枯燥。至少在科技產品、科學橫行的今天，它稱不上性感。但是現在，人類學的學生們在離開學校後可以做一件比「去安達曼群島研究當地人的婚姻狀況對社會的影響」更有趣的事情，參與一個將人類學與汽車智慧技術結合的項目。

「人類學」的學生近日成為了福特公司的寵兒，後者花了大筆費用招募一些研究人員。這是因為福特與Intel正在合作開發一款全新的app，app可基於車內攝影機增強司機和乘客的車內體驗，在未來實現「人與汽車的無縫銜接」。

福特公司給了這個項目一個有趣的名字「Project Mobii」——全稱Mobile Interior Imaging。他們透過招募人類學家、人種學家和工程師共同研究如何透過臉部辨識軟體為乘客和司機提供更個性化的車內體驗，同時增強了安全性與隱私保護。

透過手機app，用戶可以遠端「進入」汽車，檢查是否將房門鑰匙或其它物品遺留在了車內，或者用戶可以親自批准或拒絕其他人駕駛你的車或在你車內使用各種系統。

此外，項目組透露他們正在研發如何透過手勢打開天窗，用人臉識別技術識別車主，以省去車主攜帶車鑰匙的麻煩。這有點類似汽車版Xbox Kinect,，或許未來還會增加點小遊戲什麼的。

目前，福特和Intel表明專案處於早期的研發階段，近期不會出現一些實際app的產品。但無論如何，這些懂得人類社會的學者們和工程師碰在一起，聽起來就是一件有趣的事情。
