因應颱風來襲　國防部完成災害應變中心二級開設

（軍聞社記者林宜慶臺北十七日電）國防部今天表示，因應「西馬隆颱風」可能對臺灣地區造成影響，本部配合中央災害應變中心二級開設，同步於十一時卅分完成國軍災害應變中心二級開設。

　國防部指出，為因應災防需求，國軍已規劃待命兵力計有四萬七千餘人、S-70C直升機九架、UH-1H直升機十三架、C-130運輸機十三架等整備工作；另後備指揮部與各作戰區（聯兵旅）連絡官，將視縣市政府災害應變中心開設情形進駐，掌握即時災情與地方需求。
