數百名菲律賓人，今天在中國駐馬尼拉使館前示威， 抗議中國宣稱擁有所有南中國海島的主權。

示威者高舉菲律賓國旗，高唱愛國歌曲，高喊﹔中國停止欺負菲律賓！，中國滾出西菲律賓海！由於發生示威，中國使館簽證處今天沒有營業。

中國聲稱擁有南沙群島主權，然而菲律賓聲稱，南中國海部分島嶼屬於菲律賓，還把這個海域改名為西菲律賓海。菲國建議，把菲律賓和中國之間海洋爭議，提交國際法庭裁決，遭北京拒絕。
