在節能減碳的趨勢前提之下，納入VW集團麾下的BENTLEY首度為Continental GT車系放上了V8的引擎動力，而且在2012年7月發表上市之後，1098萬的價格也是當前BENTLEY品牌在國內的產品陣容中，身價最為平易近人的車款。然而，一向標榜卓越動力作為前提的Continental GT車系，換上V8引擎之後是否會讓這個精神因此而有所減損？僅需千萬出頭的身價是否會犧牲長途駕馭的樂趣？其實，這一切的多餘想法都在按下引擎啟動鈕之後，完全被摒除於腦後！
