西西里外海非法移民 6死逾百人獲救

義大利海岸巡防隊今天(10日)表示，在西西里島(Sicily)一處旅遊觀光海灘，有6名非法移民遺體被人發現，另有疑似為敘利亞非法移民的100多人，在外海的1艘漁船上獲救。

西西里島第二大城卡塔尼亞(Catania)港務局1名官員說：「這6人的遺體是經由海灘旅館的員工通報」後，相關單位才派人前去處理。

調查人員說，約有120名非法移民，其中包括許多婦女和兒童，搭乘1艘小型漁船，可能是從敘利亞港口試圖來到西西里島。

調查人員說，海岸巡防隊將這艘漁船上的100多位非法移民，全部轉送到岸上的收容所，他並且表示，這些非法移民應該是來自敘利亞，但是目前還不清楚他們確實出發的地點。

此外，義大利媒體報導，死亡的6名非法移民，可能是試圖從漁船游到海灘，但是途中卻不幸滅頂而身亡，遺體最後被沖到岸上。

根據報導，當時漁船距離海灘僅約15公尺。

另外，這個月7日，也有另一批約100名非法移民，大部份可能是來自敘利亞，在義大利本土南部的卡拉布里亞(Calabria)海岸獲救。
