兄弟象張民諺今年代打成績並不好，但總教練謝長亨在關鍵時刻，還是把重責大任交給他，張民諺轟出3分砲（本季第2轟），一棒定江山，兄弟象5比0完封義大犀牛，張民諺獲選單場MVP。

這也是義大犀牛本季首次被對手完封，中斷了連續83場得分的紀錄，象隊是由陳鴻文、官大元、真田裕貴、湯瑪仕聯手完封犀牛。

不算今天的全壘打，張民諺本季代打16打數只擊出1支安打，但在6局下兩人出局一、二壘有跑者的關鍵時刻，面對犀牛第三任投手蔡明晉，草總還是決定讓張民諺上場代打，草總表示「他是我們球隊狀況最好的打者，在這種狀況，當然要讓他代打」。

面對蔡明晉的投球，球數一好三壞，張民諺表示「對方沒有投壞球的空間所以只要好球就打」，陳煥揚投出直球，張民諺大棒轟出右外野方向的3分砲，這是他本季第2支全壘打，也是他生涯第1支代打全壘打。

張民諺本季有很多的代打機會，他也慢慢地調適自己的心情，張民諺表示「代打都是是在關鍵時刻或落後的時候上場，壓力一定會有，過去可能一次代打沒成功，就會一直想為什麼？現在我會想，先發打4次未必有安打，只要把握住一次機會、能為球隊建功就好」。 (接下一頁)
