劍橋創世界最大袋薯片記錄

【大紀元2013年09月15日訊】(大紀元記者周恆英國報導)英國劍橋郡的一家食品公司近日成功的創下了世界最大袋薯片的記錄，他們超過20個小時的時間，裝滿了一大袋薯片，重量達到1.14噸。

這家考克爾斯薯片公司（Corkers Crisps）位於小唐納姆（Little Downham）。那裏的八名工作人員從9月12日晚間起開始製作這袋薯片。他們輪流休息，把薯片炸好後，送上一個電梯，然後倒進袋子裡，終於在週五夜間創下了新的世界記錄。

這袋巨大的薯片長7.6米、寬3.8米，足有兩層樓房高，重量為1140公斤，比去年日本一家公司創下的記錄的兩倍還多。估計裡面的薯片有大約200萬片，相當於2.8萬袋普通尺寸的薯片，口味是鹹味。

《吉尼斯世界記錄大全》派人監督了這個活動。薯片公司的老闆表示，這次衝擊世界記錄並非一帆風順，因為他們的第一個裝薯片的袋子破了，現在用的是第二個。
