中信兄弟自辦熱身賽第二度遭遇嘉義大學，繼首場以10：1取勝後，象隊再以7：3擊敗對手。而周末假期連兩天，中信兄弟在斗六棒球場的自辦熱身賽，都吸引上百名球迷進場觀看比賽，現場氣氛相當熱鬧。

中信兄弟ˇ局下由陳家駒率先敲出二壘安打開啟攻勢，張正偉接著補上右外野安打送回壘上跑者，象隊先馳得點，3局結束以3:0領先。

6局下象隊攻勢再起，兩出局後王峻杰敲出中外野安打，陳子豪再靠對方守備失誤上壘，近況火燙的郭健瑜接替張志豪上場，在關鍵時刻敲出左外野深遠二壘安打，送回壘上兩名跑者，幫助象隊添得2分保險分。

中信兄弟本役先發投手鄭錡鴻主投3局未失分。

自辦熱身賽首度登板的官大元中繼2局，被敲3支安打，投出1次保送失掉1分。
