　　菲律賓衛生部門16號證實，當地出現首宗境外傳入中東呼吸症候群冠狀病毒病例。涉及的一家10口已被隔離觀察，引發當地民眾恐慌。

　　當地衛生部門表示，患病的男性病患是一名醫護人員，最近才從阿聯酋返回菲律賓。據了解，這名患者在阿聯酋一家醫院工作，一名跟他同樣來自菲律賓的醫護人員，上個星期因感染中東呼吸症候群冠狀病毒死亡。這名患者因和他有接觸，所以接受檢查，並在檢查完後返回菲律賓。阿聯酋最近取得檢驗結果後，主動通報了菲國衛生部。
