總是看空的麥嘉華周一說，美國股市已自「完全超賣」的情況中復甦，股市現在已進行反彈，但他警告，股市不太可能再創新高點。

末日博士麥嘉華告訴CNBC說，如果創新高點，將只是少數幾檔股票創新高點的結果。

「有許多檔股票大幅回檔，上周四收盤為止，短期而言，股市已極度技術性超賣，僅有20%的股票高於50日移動平均線，」麥嘉華說。

亞洲與歐洲股市上周大幅下跌，在歐巴馬總統授權美國軍隊空襲伊拉克後，周一已見反彈。

「在我看來，一波反彈走勢，現在已經展開。但我懷疑股市能否創新高點。如果創新高點，可能只是少數幾檔股票創新高，因為技術面的傷害已十分嚴重，」他說。

麥嘉華說，目前為止，伊拉克對股市的影響有限，但如果伊斯蘭國對沙烏地阿拉伯採取行動，則股市便可能反應。

投資人不應預期未來會大幅成長或出現強勁報酬，因為股市，債券與不動產的價值均已「膨脹」，他說。

談到信用市場，麥嘉華說，他仍持有美國10年期債券，但他警告，金融市場疲弱首先會在債券展現。

「我認為未來的報酬將非常低。若現在持有10年期債券，未來十年，每年報酬率最高僅2.42%，」他說。
