原本「嘴硬」拒絕邁阿密熱火的Luol Deng，14日傳出還是接受熱火的2年2000萬美元合約，將取代「小皇帝」LeBron James的先發小前鋒位置。

根據《RealGM》消息，自從James離開後，總裁Pat Riley積極追求Deng，因為他是目前自由球員市場上最有才華的小前鋒。

雖然一度受怪病侵襲，本季又從芝加哥公牛被交易到克里夫蘭騎士，Deng整季還是繳出平均16分、5.7籃板佳績。

季後，不少球隊都有意這位能攻能守的小前鋒，包括亞特蘭大老鷹、鳳凰城太陽、洛杉磯快艇、達拉斯小牛，不過最後Deng選擇熱火。

熱火先前成功留住Dwyane Wade與Chris Bosh，現在如願以償再組「新三星」，不過Deng的合約最後一年是球員選擇權，這組新搭檔能合作多久，一切都還不確定。
