既然爺爺，姐姐都可以「花樣」，甚至連大台都要整部《三個小生去旅行》「致敬」，就知道韓國綜藝節目王牌監製羅英石是收視保證。
去年暑假 tvN的《花樣爺爺》找來幾位叔伯級前輩演員遊歷世界，《花樣姐姐》則找來李美淑尹汝貞接力，但卻漸見疲態。這次《花樣青春》嘗試新形式，每次旅程索性重新洗牌換人。新一季在寮國拍攝， 9月 12日首播，最值得留意的，當然是有望成為下一個大勢男的柳演錫。
