養貓人增4倍　新法規定貓也要植晶片

台北市議會日前三讀通過《台北市動物保護自治條例》，除寵物未來出入公共場所飼主要使用鍊繩、籠箱等防護措施，新規定納入貓咪也應植入晶片。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，該條例規定飼主、繁殖與買賣業者，在寵物出生起4個月內應辦理寵物登記且植入晶片。依動保處統計，飼養貓咪人數逐年增加，2001年僅2萬6000名貓咪飼主，2013年11月已增加到近11萬人，成長4倍。動保處表示，新法未來會有宣導期，正式實施後才會開罰，最快明年上路。（陳亮諭／綜合報導）
