彭博報導，紐約金價走揚，擺脫11週低點，美國公布數據顯示企業雇主提供職缺寫下今年最低紀錄，平添聯邦準備理事會（Fed）維持低利的壓力。紐約期銅也同步上漲。

美國勞工部公布，8月非農業部門就業人口增加14萬2000人，未達彭博訪查經濟師預估下限。聯準會決策官員之前暗示，只要就業加速成長，聯準會緊縮腳步有望加快，超過預期，如今美國就業成長卻放慢。

紐約金價恐寫下今年來首度季線收黑，美國利率看漲衝擊黃金抗通膨避險需求。

紐約12月期金收漲0.1%，每盎斯報1267.30美元，盤中一度挫跌0.7%，觸及1258美元，寫下6月17日來最低。紐約金價今年來計漲5.4%，中東與烏克蘭相繼爆發危機，帶動黃金避險需求。

倫敦金屬交易所（LME）3個月期銅收漲0.6%，每噸報6975美元，相當每磅3.16美元。
