2011年東京車展發表的雙門後驅車BRZ，是SUBARU以及TOYOTA共同合作開發的平價跑車。即便先前TOYOTA有意利用相同底盤平台衍生出四門以及其它車型，但現在SUBARU卻只專注於BRZ的銷售，不僅沒打算推出渦輪增壓動力，甚至STi版本也只有套件上身而已。所以未來下世代BRZ該如何尋求更佳的市場定位，都是各界觀察的重點。
